a zine (online and in print later in 2026) about art and culture.

we take unserious things very seriously.

our name comes from the 1993 queer bromance film by tomás gutiérrez alea. david, the film's protagonist, stands out at an ice cream parlor in habana for chosing strawberry ice cream when the more popular flavor, chocolate, is available. we celebrate writing, art, and media tastes like strawberries.
